[development] "HEAD" vs. "TRUNK" -- i hereby retract my earlier rants: call it "HEAD".

i was skimming http://drupal.org/node/82257 and noticed some people
referring to "TRUNK" and others to "HEAD". this is all my fault. ;)
furthermore, i'm hereby admitting i was wrong about this. CVS is
just internally inconsistent about its own terminology. :(
while it's true that every branch has a head (the end of that
branch), there really is only one HEAD (all caps), which is the
special case of the head of the trunk. there's no such thing as "cvs
co -r TRUNK", but you *can* do "cvs co -r HEAD". so, it's confusing
and lame, but if you mean the trunk, it probably *is* best to just
refer to it as "HEAD", since that's the special-case "branch" you can
checkout from (or update to) that CVS uses internally. if you want
to talk about the trunk, best to do so without the caps, so as not to
confuse it with the name of a valid "branch".
my apologies for introducing this inconsistency in our own vocabulary...
thanks,
-derek (dww)
