This could be the perfect 5 theme for me with some work.

I like the use of color and shading at the top, and the proportions of 
it and the columns.

I also like that the main column is hinted at with the "lifted" 
semi-transparent sheet of paper effect at the top.


I agree with those remarks on the use of a logo that say don't make it 
hard on a site builder to remove the Drupalicon.  It's the first thing I 
do on every site I build using a theme that has it.  I want my own 
branding and logo, and suspect most people do, too.
