[development] overriding drupal hooks - follow up

Hello everyone,

I previously sought developers' opinions on a patch I created that would
allow custom modules to override other modules' submit/validate/nodeapi
hooks.

I've provided a use case to show where such a feature would be beneficial.
Made it plain that override functions should be TOTALLY disallowed in
contributed modules and would appreciate it if developers would take the
time to read the current discussion and give your opinions for or against
it. Fresh perspectives could indeed shed light on weather this feature would
be beneficial to the core or not because we can then capture many
developer's daily experience in dealing with contributed modules.
