FYI:

For issues that definitely are *not* making it into D6, there's now a  
"7.x-dev" version in the core issue queue.

Note to all: please bump issues into 7.x land if that's where they  
belong.

p.s. No, new issue states and versions and improvements to our  
development tools won't solve all our problems, but that doesn't mean  
we shouldn't make the most of the tools we have. ;)
