Yes, technically this is a docs thing, but it's primarily about you  
guys. ;P

Following an IRC tutorial this morning with snufkin, there's a new  
handbook page that explains how anyone on this list can help keep the  
API documentation up to date:

Now, no more tracking me down in #drupal to tell me that the FAPI  
reference has a bug. ;)
