I complete agree.

In fact we already had the http://drupal.org/project/jquery that seems
to me much more wider and with better perspectives: a module where
jquery plugins can be installed.

I add to it the thought that this module could provide a way to
select, show and install jquery plugins from the oficial jquery
plugins page and "install time"!
