Hi,

We have seen SA-2008-004 regarding vulnerabilities in the Fileshare
module and are currently evaluating how to proceed. We use the module on
a number of sites to provide intranet filesharing functionality and have
found it to be a very useful module.

Permission to create fileshare nodes is generally quite restricted on
those sites so we are investigating the scale of the vulnerability and
our response.

However, the fact that the project has been removed from drupal.org is
disappointing, as we were planning on continuing to use the module.

Does anyone else have plans to continue to use the fileshare module and
contribute to its development? This is certainly something that we would
be interested in.
