If you're having trouble with CVS, file an issue in the Infrastructure
queue, or find somebody like davereid who can help you.
Full information on the Git migration is at
http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-org-git-migration-team, including open hours
for testing this coming week (lots of them). We'd love to have all project
maintainers testing.
For real-time support, #drupal-gitsupport is open for business.
