Hey Charlie,

That's a good point. The way you phrased it, Drupal
could be used to build an online presskit or digital
resume. I know some sites charge for such services
(sonicbids.com) and it might be a selling point if
creative persons could organize all their work into a
digital portfolio. What they choose to do with their
work (sell, receive feedback) are all subsets of
"getting your work out there."

Is this maybe a better way to organize uses of drupal?

1) create an online portfolio to showcase work
   a) sell work
   b) receive feedback
2) collaboratively create new works using the net
   a) something like the projects.module,books.module
   b) setup meetup.org type meetings in real life
using
      drupal
3) documentation of current/ongoing projects
   a) blog, journal
   b) travel itinerary, tour schedule, calendar
4) creating trusted networks of information

not sure how to do the last one....it's actually more
of a general drupal question. can drupal be used to
build trust networks??...kind of like a rating system
for a node, except based on what your friends think.
check out http://getoutfoxed.com/ for an example of
what I mean.
