This is great stuff IMO -- especially if we could do some on slightly
more advanced topics as well. I would certainly prefer to look at
videos, rather than having to read a manual.
My main suggestion would be to use a core theme, maybe even the default
theme, using a fairly minimal Drupal installation, maybe even a default
installation. It makes things easier to recognize and relate to. For
example, the 'node/add' page in your video had all kind of node types
other people would not get to see.
Also, if the blog module isn't enabled by default, it is probably worth
mentioning (or showing) that the blog module must be enabled and
configured first (eg. permissions). A prerequisites blurb might be in
order.
In the 'arrows' I would use the breadcrumb paths rather than fictive
URLs.
I have no comments on the style/tone of the audio.

I think it is OK to show the administrator settings and to step over
them. The fact you mentioned that only administrators get to see these
is perfect; it is something worth learning.
