[drupal-docs] Drupal screenshots + sites list

So I have seen this suggested on the infrastructure list as well and  
think it would be a great idea.

-Implement a "drupal website gallery" highlighting standout drupal  
sites that either exhibit exceptional graphical design, information  
structure, functionality, or all three.

I would like to see the Drupal sites still live on (http://drupal.org/ 
drupal-sites).  This page while unwieldy, does still let people feel  
like they have some stake in the Drupal community.  It just shouldn't  
be promoted up near the top as our showcase.

Where should we first solicit submissions to this future gallery?  A  
post to the front page of drupal.org?  Or do we want to sequester  
this to the mailing lists?

Finally, do people think that this kind of information fits inside  
the handbook(documentation)?  Should this and other marketing  
materials live outside of the documentation?  I'm not sure....
