Overall, I think that the module can be improved by standardizing the
content and layout a bit more, and simplifying the language. I'd love
to see it move a little away from these big paragraphs to a more point
by point style, a format which discourages verbosity and makes it easier
to read and find the info you're looking for. I'm just going to throw
out some comments to see what everyone thinks, plus questions because I
probably know the least about Drupal innards of anyone here. ;)

Aggregator
http://drupal.org/node/289
Current text: 'The news aggregator is a powerful on-site RSS
syndicator/news reader that can gather fresh content from news sites and
weblogs around the web.'
What about, 'The aggregator module is a powerful RSS (link to
definition) syndicator/news reader' that can gather content from any
site that has an RSS feed available. The most common examples are news
sites and weblogs.'
Techy point: Shouldn't it say something about Drupal supporting RSS 1
and 2? (at least, I think I remember reading that...)
Requiring cron is a BIG point! It can be very confusing to people, and
deserves a more prominent display.
What about this kind of format for the You can: thingies?
'you can:
>group feeds together under a category, allowing you to display the
feeds together (I guess -^.^-)
>>add a new category administer >> aggregator >> add category
<http://drupal.org/admin/aggregator/add/category>.'
Just a thought, not super attached to it. :)
OPML needs a link explaining what it is. You could even avoid the
tediousness of linking everything and make a related links subsection.
That would make updating easier, at least.
What do I need to subscribe to a feed?

This page seems to just explain what RSS is... So I don't really see
how the content matches the title there. ;p
Configuring news feeds
http://drupal.org/node/21959
I'd like to see a note about how you can't use html in the title anymore
;p (4.6, though I think you could with 4.5)
fully-qualified URL needs a link to an explanation.
Another link to cron help. I really like the idea of a related pages
section! :)
