Heh! Well I kind of assumed that the snippets I posted that got published
right away were okay and the ones that are still awaiting approval after
just more than a month are probably the ones that need a little more tlc!
;o)
I know an awful lot more about the API now than I did when first wrote them,
maybe if rather than have them just improved by admins, the admins could
perhaps give me pointers on how/ where to improve my code or my write-ups?
That way it's less work for them and it makes it more interesting for me!
Just thinking out loud, it's probably all rubbish...

That is not a problem at all. I would not know who posted them, nor do I
care.
I dont think it is a problem that people post crufty or bad code. The fact
that that is not improved by those who know drupal a little better (blame
me,
too!) is what bothers me.
