I think so too, particularly for the handbooks. I do however, feel that comments deep down in a support forum thread means a lot at times.

I am wondering if we should not disable comments on the handbooks (or at least make them unpublished by default)? This would make things a lot more easier to navigate...

I agree - and I will do so, but if it is something I can fix satisfactorily, I will do so myself - will sometimes longer to submit the issue than to fix the problem.
