[documentation] Welcome text improvement.

Hello people!

During the road to 4.7 at least three attempts were made to improve the 
welcome text. All failed, wich leaves us with a "rather messy" or "rather 
amateuristic" looking welcome screen.

It is too late to get this trough all proper (documentation) channels, but I 
still think that therse small improvements are not hard to review and to get 
in....

Please take some minutes to review. Small changes to the patch can still be 
made, but I prefer to not make any large structural improvements. (because 
that would require a new revision round)

I'd really love it if the docs team can help me to this small change (with, 
IMO a big effect) in!

IMO this patch is valuable, since it improves the welcome. So even if its far 
from perfect, its at least far better then what we have now. Please keep that 
in mind when reviewing :)
