needed for running Drupal?

Hi all,
I am working on some recommendations for a client and I noticed
something : Nowhere on the front page of Drupal is there a link to
the minimum requirements needed for running it.
Neither of the following pages state it either :
http://drupal.org/about
http://drupal.org/handbook/is-drupal-right-for-you
http://drupal.org/handbook/version-info
I have to go 8 pages deep to find in this page a link :
http://drupal.org/node/43438
The page does not address users but "professional consultants".
So from there I get to here:
http://drupal.org/node/270
I may be missing something but could not find in the top half of the
front page any links to this information. Nor is there any link
available in the downloads page for the Drupal Project.
http://drupal.org/project/Drupal+project
As you noticed, I did not go to the handbook directly. It's the last
place for me to check. My instinct is to look in "About Drupal" or
the Downloads page. Not the handbooks. I search for information on
web page like most people : Not by reading but scanning for
information. And reading a handbook is the last thing I want to do
when looking for quick answers. No wonder my client was flumoxed when
scanning for information around the Drupal site. They said they
couldn't find anything they were looking for : a quick checklist of
requirements with maybe a list of hosts that could potentially run
the system.
Comments?
