I would tend to agree that system requirements should be one click  
away under the about page. I've had to dig a couple of times when  
advising a client on their own servers, and while it does make sense  
to have it under the installation area, the standard practice for  
most softwares (and thus a common expectation) is that a link to  
"System Requirements" is easy to find and one, maybe two clicks away.
