The paypal subscription module enables a site visitor to pay money via
Paypal and receive a special role on your Drupal site. Example: An
"authorized user" cannot access your site's archive. But by purchasing
a subscription, the visitor is promoted to "subscriber" role which has
access to the site archives.
This module processes the payment using Paypal and automatically
upgrades the subscriber to the correct role when cron is run.
This module requires the Paypal Framework module. Note: this module
conflicts with the Ecommerce module, and the Paypal module within the
Ecommerce suite of modules. You cannot use them together without
creating problems.
This module requires cron to be running. This module uses Paypal's IPN.
To use PayPal's IPN service, you must have either a (free) PayPal
Premier or Business account. If you have a Personal account, follow
Paypal's instructions upgrading.
This module is not currently being maintained. It works correctly only
with one subscriber role, and not more than one subscriber role. Due to
timezone issues, you need to disable local timezone and sent your global
settings to GMT unless your servers are in GMT.
