If I might make a radical proposal, the About Drupal section is an 
important web site page, but doesn't belong in the same grouping as the 
other handbooks.  It's kind of like getting a new, complicated digital 
camera and discovering that the first fifty pages of the manual are 
talking about the history of the manufacturer, predecessor versions of 
the camera, whether or not you should have bought the camera in the 
first place, etc.

Perhaps the recent work for changing the way books are organized could 
be used to treat this entire handbook as something different from the 
others, which really are About Using Drupal.
