In the PHPTemplate area of the Theme Developer's Handbook, in each
tpl.php pages (e.g., node, box, etc), there is an "Available Variables"
listing.
On all pages but the one for page.tpl.php
(http://drupal.org/node/11812), the variables are listed with the
leading '$'. However, the variables listed for 'page.tpl.php' don't
have the leading '$'. This presents a noticeable, inconsistent look for
the documentation.

Tried to edit this node to fix this error but received "Terminated
request because of suspicious input data." Could someone else with
admin try to fix this?
