Issue status update for
http://drupal.org/node/113213
Post a follow up:
http://drupal.org/project/comments/add/113213

 Project: Documentation
 Version: <none>
 Component: Misc
 Category: feature requests
 Priority: normal
 Assigned to: Anonymous
 Reported by: dami
 Updated by: Crell
 Status: active

Somewhere in the issue queue there was a expose the modified time and
author as well as created time and author to node templates, complete
with a UI. I don't recall why it was dropped, but I'd definitely be in
favor of bringing it up again if I can find it. :-)

As title, can we add 'last updated' info to handbook pages? I think it
might be useful for users to get a sense of how current/relevant a page
is...

Should probably be a feature request against the book.module rather then
documentation. Then it could be implemented on all Drupal sites.

oops. :) meant against Drupal since it's the book module.
