Hey Kent,
That is a very cool offer. One thing to keep in mind though:
The reason we don't have a lot of screenies in the handbook is that
displaying images require the page to be at Full HTML input format
(which can present a security issue if given to everyone). Once a
page is on this format only site admins can edit the page - normal
users, who create pages, and handbook maintainers, who create and
edit, won't be able to touch them anymore. So, while pics are great,
they limit the number of people who can help and therefor need to be
used carefully.
This is a discussion that comes up regularly with regard to theme
projects since folks often want to have a screencap of their theme.
Right now a site admin has to change the format and then if the
project author wants to edit the page they have to create an issue to
get it temporarily turned off while they edit. You can probably find
discussion about this in the webmaster or infra maillist archives.
