Mike has hit the nail on the head. Tangential information should just
be removed completely.
Actually this whole page could do with a rewrite since it's full of
off-topic rambling and editorializing. For example "For CSS, the
situation is quite similar to Javascript. The only difference is that
here there is a strong difference between the standard compliant
browsers and Internet Explorer. We can use CSS2 where needed and
provide IE6 workarounds if necessary." This doesn't seem to have
particular relevance to Drupal. It's more like the forlorn cry of all
web developers. It's all a bit misleading since we seemed to be
suggesting that FireFox 2 is "standards compliant" when in fact it's
only relatively more compliant than IE.
It would be more helpful if we simply specified, in bullet form, what
browsers are supported (in the form "Internet Explorer version 5.x and
later") and clarified vague statements like "Konqueror should work if
it's the latest version."
