[support] FAPI and GET or bookmarkable searches

Is there a standard way to keep on using all the goodies of FAPI with
GET?

Or better... I'd like the result of a custom module searches could be
bookmarkable but still being able to validate forms with FAPI.

The custom module doesn't use drupal search facilities and I'm on
5.6.
