[support] When D7 will be avaible ?

Hi all, I need to make an offer for a client. He has a D5 site and want 
to make some changes before switch to D7. I want to switch it to D6, 
before changes.
But I can not ask him money to switch from D5 to D6 and after from D6 to 
D7 if D7 will be out in few mounth.

So, does someone know a estimated release date ?  or period.
