[support] Need page refresh

Drupal is fast growing, but not everything has been coded and
standardized yet. Everyone now a days is pushing it to become a
full-blown application platform, beyond just a fancy version of wordpress...

So I'm sure you will find a lot of things that are missing as you gain
experience. You can also contribute in the areas that are missing.

If you want to request features, you must do so on the issue forum of
the module you are discussing, in this case: Views. Merlin of Chaos is
quite responsive [thee authority on Views]

If you can find code to refresh just a part of the page, then you can
integrate this into Drupal. AJAX comes to mind...

'block_refresh' module author seems to be working on 6.x compatible module. I was a little surprised that is the only module on the horizon I could find.

The other is a block which shows the list of private messages sent from my students. Right now, I am manually refreshing, which I wish to be automatically updated a la Facebook.
