Do not know if it is something you would want to try, but www.lynda.com has
a Drupal Theme video training series that is very good.  To try the site out
is just $25 for a whole month.  That will get you access to the other two
Drupal series and everything else on the site.

The other option is the Drupal Theme Guide, and it starts at:
http://drupal.org/theme-guide/6.
