[themes] CSS only, 3 column equal height layout

Hello List,

as we are discussing whether or not it's possible to provide a CSS only, 
tableless, 3 column equal height Layout, here is one [1]. It's easy to adjust 
to display one, two or three columns of equal height, each with different 
background [2].

What do you think of it?
