It comes from the biological taxonomy. It is a ancient Greek word if i am not 
mistaken. In most languages it just translates to taxonomie or taxonomy or 
so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxonomy refer to the translations in the 
left bar. Any dictionary with scientific backgrounds will list this under the 
category "evolution" or "biology".
