[translations] Check for po files in contrib/modules CVS

Hi,

Is there a "simple" way to extract (from cvs ?) a list of modules for which
a translation is available or not, in other words check if <language>.po
file is present ?
If we could check for their status it would be great, but it might be a much
more resources-consuming task...
