Me neither. This is a risky practice. Everybody I've talked to has at 
least one story of "that client" --

For the first time (and possibly subsequent jobs) I'd require a 
percentage up front before work has begun. A reasonable client 
understands, and an unreasonable client is, well, unreasonable :)
