I was considering this one RFP that had hard deadlines. And decided to blow it off,. The time line came and went, then I got an email saying they extended it. Of course they did, there estimates suck and so do ours. 

The fact this budget went from 12k-18k proves they don't have a fixed budget. Funny thing is we ALWAYS ask people what their budget is. But that is more to gain an appreication of what size venue they want to play in.
