[support] custom content and permissions (only admin can see)

A little more info (which may be obvious to the more experienced).
Extensive logging is making it look like the custom tpl.php is being
called for the admin user as drupal is going through the 'alter'
$op/part of hook_nodeapi().

I have also tried checking/enabling all of the content_permissions
module's 'edit field_*', but anon and auth'd users still don't get the
content.
