[support] Drupal 6 Vs Drupal 7

Hi Drupal Experts
Is there any performance comparision data available between Drupal 6 and
Drupal 7.
If somebody need to start a developemnt for a big site (involving huge
database operations, search engine tika/apachesolr etc), which one is
recomonded D6 or D7.
