thanks to the hard work of Gabor, Doug, Jose, chx, Steven, Development Seed et al, I managed to commit the new language subsystem (http://drupal.org/node/128866). This makes for the first step towards better i18n and l10n support. Say 'yay!' ... :)
Excellent! Much kudos to those who worked on this. A notice on the front page is a good idea, many are interested in this and would be glad to see things are happening.
