The truth is that people send us e-mail without having researched the available communication channels or without having read the Drupal documentation. We point them to the proper documentation in a friendly manner, and provide information where necessary. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ If you insist in keeping it that way, you might not want to add me to that list. ;^)
The use of the address for the Drupal community seems quite limited. I suggest providing a link to the search and project module pages instead. Cheers, Gerhard
