Mimemail and mass mailing

Hi, Has anyone information about mimemail and mass mailing? To be more specific, I want to use views_mail which uses mimemail, and I wish to know whether it can be used for large (>15000 mails) mailing lists. Thanks for any numbers or hints! Zohar Stolar

would like to thank everyone on the support list for help we are now live on drupal www.content-wire.com ( yippie - virtual round of drinks for everyone) now with the help of some hand on techies, well work on improvements and futures 1) we need to configure the site so that NO DUPLICATES are allowed Now I can enter a keyword or category many times, and the site will display it many times also the stories, can be given the same headline, (or is it just displayed many times?) how can we make sure the site to not to accept duplicates? how do I know if a keywords (say, ontology) is a single instance? (I have allowed multiple relationships, so it looks like a term can have many parents but I it looks like there are three instances as it appears below each of them) 2) i'd like to add foaf profiles to my site, and add some elements is there a module? cheers PDM thanks PDM

SSL for only certain directories

We are evaluating Drupal 5.2 and currently have a requirement that certain applications that run on a CMS will need to use SSL for secure transfer of data. I have noticed a configuration, http://drupal.org/node/60222, that enables a Drupal website to work with SSL. Is there a solution that enables only certain directories to use SSL? Thanks for any insight.

Session management

Hi all, I have a little module that inserts a flash application inside a drupal page. The problem is that when the flash interacts with the site, it does not obey to the session cookie and does not start the correct session. Because I really cannot make the flash use, or send the correct cookie, the only option is by sending in the URL the session id. Now the big problem is: how can I send in the URL the session id just for that path in a way Drupal understands and processes it? Best regards, Fernando Silva

views fusion and nodeprofile

Hi, I am having problems using the views fusion module together with nodeprofile. This is what I want to do: I have create advanced user profiles using usernode, nodeprofile and CCK. Each profile consist of 3 parts: general information, physical information and account information. So I have made these 3 CCK's children of the usernode using nodefamily. Now I want to use all this information together in 1 view with the possibility to search the CCK fields and get a listing of userprofiles. I have created 4 views: 1 with the nodeprofiles and then 3 with the corresponding information (physical, general, account). Then I fused them together with the nodeprofile view beeing the parent of the other views. Information is displayed but I can't get the search running. I would like to be able to search for eye color (physical information CCK) for example. The only way I get it running is when I create a filter of eye color in my physical information view, expose it and in filter then select "is one of" and select all the possible values. Only then the search works. Since I might be adding other options for eye color it is not an option that I would need to addjust this view each time to add the value to the filter's possible values. So I am missing something here I guess? Could someone please help me with this one? Kind regards, Bart

Hello list, We've recently started a community site where we discuss and learn GNU/Linux, PHP and MySQL. The site contains various articles including code snippets and small PHP scripts. Is there any solution to publish code on Drupal sites? Is there any mechanism or module that does syntax highlighting? I want the code to be displayed as it appears in VIM. If syntax highlighting is not available, I would be happy with some coloring that makes code appear more readable and memorable. I wonder how Zend folks manage to publish code like this - http://devzone.zend.com/article/644-PHP-101-part-9-SQLite-My-Fire---Part-1 On the above page I'm referring to the code below the title: "Anatomy Class". Support - News Aggregator Does not update news

Hi, I am using the news aggregator to publish news on my site from various feeds. The news items never update themselves. I have set some news feeds to update once in 24 hours and some once in 4 hours. I always have to manually update them by clicking Update Items. What could be causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Sudheer. S
