Copy a drupal site

Hey support community, When creating a drupal site on a testserver, what is the best way to copy the site to the production server? Hereby i mean copying al modules(i think this is just FTPing)? Copying all configurations?(including config from modules) Copying database? Is there somekind of module that can create an image of a site? TIA, -- Kees

D5: Email rembember password in language different from English in a Multilanguage site

Hi all. I need to do some change in a multilanguage site (I have not created and setup-ed it). The site is configurate to respond in italian language when the user see "it/" path. One of the problem that I need to resolv is in the remember password email that it is sent always in english and not in Italian language even though the user is in "it/user/password" (note it/ ). Can you help me with "compilation failed" message on coffeehouse site?

Hi all, I ran out of space on my server... Now I've made space, but I'm getting this message bunches of times on the home page of http://friendlycoffeehouse.org/ warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: this version of PCRE is not compiled with PCRE_UTF8 support at offset 0 in /home/friendly/public_html/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 679. What should I look at here? For instance, how would I compile PCRE with PCRE_UTF8 support? or, how to modify bootstrap.inc so that this isn't needed? Nikhil - If you use the Rules module to send your emails out, then it provides Drupal tokens with the node information of a node for certain actions that you can place into your email content. That is usually how I implement that sort of behavior. Since all of the node information is available it allows you to add any information submitted to the node in your email. The quality setting in Image API affects the compression level of the JPEGs that it creats. It's passed as a parameter to GD lib or ImageMagick, depending on what library you are using. I could be wrong, but I do not believe the original upload is discarded. One thing that GD lib will do is set a default resolution (PPI) of 72ppi on all JPEG images that pass through it. I am working on a post-processing filter for ImageCache that will allow you to configure the PPI once all other GD/ImageMagick libs are finished with it. However, this is only necessary where you want to distribute print quality images, since 72ppi is relatively optimal for screen output. But now if I want to send the exact link of that node in email how I can I do that? Question About What Image API Does on File Upload

I'm using Filefield. I'm confused about the setting at: admin/settings/imageapi/config where it asks you to set a jpg % for photo manipulations. Here is my question... if I've got my file uploads set to no maximum, both for file size and pixel count, will the image be copied as is or will it be compressed at the jpg setting? Will Drupal save the original without changing it. Thanks, Shai

PHP inside nodes?

Hello, I have Drupal 6. I want to create an input format that allows me to insert PHP code in a web page. Of course, this is only for admin. Anyways, I can't figure out how to do that. When I go to "input formats" and select "add input format" I don't see any option to allow PHP code. Help? Daniel.

dreamweaver CS4 and .info files

Hello List, Does anybody know of a way to get DW CS4 to open .info files on a Windows machine? After googling around, all I saw were DW extensions for CS3. It's not a huge deal, but changing ".info" to ".txt", editing, and then changing back to ".info" is certainly getting irritating!
