To custom theme the content of a column use a function template.php like: function phptemplate_views_handle_field_node_data_FIELDNAME_FIELDNAME_value($fields, $field, $data) This works for me anyhow. You may have to play with it to get the function name precise. To see this in the Views code, find function phptemplate_views_view_table and see the line: $cell['data'] = views_theme_field('views_handle_field', $field['queryname'], $fields, $field, $node, $view); See the code in theme_views_handle_field and you will see how the Views module looks for custom functions to replace the default ones. theme locking

Hi, I have a theme that keeps locking itself in and won't let the other theme take over. When I disable it and only enable one I can see the other theme but otherwise I cannot change it. What is happening? Any help would be great. Sarah

tagadelic problem

Hi, There seems to be a either a limit to the terms that a category can store or when you enter % as a term the category ceases to be able to take entries for other terms - they all equate to % when you type them in and save the item. I am using the tagadelic module with a category that allows free-tagging. Which is the real problem and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance, Sarah

Authenticate against Joomla

Hi, Scenario: a site is using both Joomla and Drupal. Joomla will sit in the "front", where Drupal will sit in a subdirectory and used "behind the front". Is it possible when a user logs in Joomla, he's automatically logged in Drupal too? From what I understand, the Joomla side is the one that needs hacking to accomplish this, right? I have a Drupal 5 cck type with a large text field that is not often populated. The column for that field in a view could have a link to view the node, and include the text in the field in a tooltip if it is non-blank, and otherwise not display anything to the user. I think to implement this I want to provide custom theming of the field in views that will be invoked by theme_get_function <http://api.drupal.org/api/function/theme_get_function/5> : something along the lines of function tablename_fieldname(). Could anyone point me in the direction of code that does this kind of theming? A view linking to other views . . .

Maybe I'm missing something obvious or thinking about it all wrong, or maybe the functionality doesn't exist and I'll have to do something different, but I'm trying to create a view that has links to another view thats list is filled from and argument of some type. I have two custom content types: a sermon and a series of related sermons. What I want is to have three listings (via Views): 1) a list of the X most recent sermons, 2) a list of all the series, and 3) a list of sermons within a specified series. Also, I want to be able to click on the series name in Views listing 1 and 2 and have it bring up the related listing 3. I have 1 and 2 done easily enough, but I'm having a bit of difficulty coming up with an acceptable solution for 3. What I have thought of and/or tried so far: I have in the sermon's content type a node reference field to the series it belongs to. However, that field is unavailable in the Views UI. I have tried using arguments and specifying a view as the target, but that's not even an option from with Views. I have tried taxonomy, but the user input is not as clean as I would like for potential computer neophyte and/or illiterate users. Is what I'm trying to accomplish possible? If so, how? What I'm looking at doing short term is creating individual views for each series, but that is really not what I want to be doing long term, nor do I want to have that as part of the process for a new person to learn. image_import's nodes with empty image field

Hi, I have a drupal installation with a view that shows a set of thickbox images. Everything works great: image_cache, thickbox, views, etc. I need to upload some whole image folders contents quite often, and somebody recommended me to use the image_import.module. After installing the image module, I update drupal, then switch on the image_import module and define the import folder for image_import containing some image files. But when i select the images that I want to upload it creates a image node for each file, with its filename as title (without the extension) and the date of creation, but without the image! Do you know what should I do for inserting automagically each file into the image field of the created image node? Thank You in advance. Lucas J. González
