PageManager and Panels

Using latest Drupal 7 and doing the Node1 drupalize.me tutorials. I have the Articles panels working as per the tuts and have an events view which I want displayed at the top of the page. It all works in Preview but not in the browser as user or admin. Have checked permissions, rechecked the Variants set up and am stuck How can I fix this please. Thanks in advance Roger

Query with Views and RSS feed population

Hello, I posted on this topic last night, but had an email outage, so likely didn't get any replies, if any were sent, so apologies to anyone who may have done so! I have extraneous html showing in my RSS feed, which has been created using views, and Drupal 7. Filling taxonomy fields

I'm starting a new Drupal 7.23 site utilising pagemanager and panels, following Johan Falk's 13 video tuts. The site will be a rebuild of an existing live site but with a different focus and will use much of the existing taxonomy data. Taxonomy data is Books and Authors, Localities, Venues, Contacts, Quotes and the like. Current site is events based, new site will be newsletter based, events data will be just one part thereof for inclusion in the news format but the taxonomy data is needed for the newsletter items and to facilitate events entry in a controlled format. Is there any way: - I can copy the content of previous taxonomy field data over to a new database table/field of the same name without manually cutting and pasting each one? - To copy the date format settings over to the new? My problem is much of the data is affected by workbench so I cannot simply reuse the database because any data containing workbench references will fail. Backup and restore copies the workbench stuff so that's not helpful. phpmyadmin will copy the right fields but these have workbench references and cause errors in the new system. I'd appreciate any help or advice on how to do this thanks in advance Roger

RSS query

Hello, I've used 'Views' in Drupal 7 to create a page and accompanying RSS feed, and have associated it to a created content type, that will allow someone to upload an audio file, enter some text describing the file, and allow subscription to the RSS (podcast). I added the necessary fields to the RSS part of my view, 'Title', 'Body', 'Podcast file' and 'Path' The page at http://www.ncbi.ie/focus displays fine, but there is a code error at http://www.ncbi.ie/focus.xml Can anyone spot what I may have done wrong? I have run out of ideas, so any help will be very much appreciated! Kind regards, Stuart Lawler

Hook after node_save()

just to prove that my code would work, I put it in hook_node_update(). Unfortunately, that hook runs before node_save() completes, so the updated data is not written to the DB yet. I can't find any hook that runs after node_save() is complete. Does anyone have any ideas? Nancy

Hi guys, I'm building Drupal based websites for friend's Law firm/NPO and I have some weird issues with Contact forms. First, he registered domain kesarandcosolicitors.co.uk. It's Drupal 6 site (in process to upgrade to Drupal 7). On Contact page, let's say the recipient email for "Recruitment" category is recruitment[at]kesarandcosolicitors[dot]co[dot]uk, and for the "General" category is my lamp[at]afan[dot]net. If I select Recruitment category and check the "Send yourself the copy" checkbox and submit the form, in error_log I'll get an error "Error sending e-mail (from lamp@... to recruitment@...)" and the email will not be sent to the recruitment@... email. But I will get the copy. And, if I do the same thing for the General category - everything works fine and I'll get both emails (the copy and me as a recipient) will arrive. Mail for kesarandcosolicitors[dot]co[dot]uk are managed on MS Exchange Mail Server in his office. Now, I just started building his second website, for his NPO, kesarandcointervene.co.uk. The Contact form behave the same. No email can be sent to ****(a)kesarandcosolicitors.co.uk, but it works just fine for not-to-domain related email (like Yahoo, Gmail, hotmail...) Any idea? Corrupt Registry Issue

Hi, I am having issues with the Drupal registry becoming corrupt. I installed 7.23 as usual (I have Drupal outside the document root and symlink the necessary directories). Whenever the cache is flushed or a module is enabled I get this error (or similar): Fatal error: Class 'DrupalDefaultEntityController' not found in /home/user/site.co.uk/drupal/modules/comment/comment.module on line 1694 When this happens I use a module called registry rebuild and visit www.site.co.uk/sites/all/modules/registry_rebuild/registry_rebuild.php. This outputs: DRUPAL_ROOT is /home/user/site.co.uk/drupal. Bootstrapping to DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_SESSION Bootstrap caches have been cleared in DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_SESSION Doing registry_rebuild() in DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_SESSION Bootstrapping to DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_FULL Doing registry_rebuild() in DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_FULL Flushing all caches There were 102 files in the registry before and 171 files now. If you don't see any crazy fatal errors, your registry has been rebuilt. That works! However it doesn't fix the problem. Whenever a module is enabled or the cache is flushed the problem repeats itself. Does anyone have any ideas or pointers on how to resolve this? I have downloaded Drupal again and overwritten the files but the problem persists. Cheers! Gibbs
