Changing File System

I just discovered that one of the (D6) sites I occasionally work on has been set to use the private file system.I'll admit that I am not terribly clear on the differences, but I have never before used private - only public. Since this prevents CSS compression and the site is rather sluggish, I'd like to change it. Is there anything special that I have to do when I choose the public file system? Suggestion not being used

Hi, I am using field suggestions for a Views Slideshow, Every field works perfectly except the "Content:Path" field I need to make links to the subpage. The "Information" area of the advanced View properties says that it is using it but the content created doesn't show. The field "value" shows alone in the html in approximately the right place but none of the template code. Wysiwyg Tinymce 3 and Drupal 7.12

Hi, I'm using Drupal 7.12 and I want to use tinymce 3.5b1 I've installed the wysiwyg module 2.1 and upload the tinymce 3.5 version and activate it in the profiles. But when I'm creating a new page, no editor is displaying at all. Does anyone experiencing the same issue ? Thanks, Olivier.

OpenId authentication

Hi all, I need help understanding the OpenId moodle, what I need is to have a button that perform the authentication with Google, the idea is that users only will use Google's OpenId (https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id) to enter my site, so, I want to optimize the User Log In Block and just place a Button or a link to perform the authentication with Google's OpenId. Views: sort by arbitrary field value

Say I have a view that lists all the nodes on my site. Say I have three content types: page, news, blog. If I sort by content type, I can only sort by ascending or descending order: e.g. "blog, news, page" or "page, news, blog". What do I need to do if I want the articles to be sorted in an order of my choosing, say "news, blog, page"? (I guess I could create separate views for each content type and attach them, but what if I had thirty content types, say, and added more regularly)

question about time and tokens

I am looking for a module that could help me with the time and help put time information in an email sent out via the rules module? I have news wires that go out often that rules generates and I would like a notice of Dayte march 12, 2012 Then show the time for the us time zones and one for utc. Is there anything that might be able do help me accomplish this for drupal 7? Thanks for any suggestions.
