An event system? There are several on line event web applications. Why do you want to create one yourselves? Now I once created a system that allowed an administrator to manage contracted cooking instructors. These instruction sessions were events. Events with a venue, a schedule, various players who had to be contacted, supply ordering and fulfillment that needed to be done, verifying that the contract was actually being fulfilled, and paying the contracted instructors through an invoice system. All this was accomplished without using a Content Management System. What are you trying to do? Rotating Selected Images

I have a content type that contains an imagefield used for displaying photos, and I'm having a problem getting them to display with the proper orientation. Some of the photos were taking with the normal camera orientation (landscape), but some were taken vertically (i.e. the camera turned 90 degrees clockwise). When I display the vertical images in a photo app (like Preview or iPhoto on my Mac) they display just fine, but when they are displayed in Drupal, they are all displayed horizontally, which means the vertical ones are on their side. There is an image style that will rotate them, but not all of the photos require this, so the all-or-nothing approach doesn't work. Other than writing code to rotate the vertical images counter-clockwise (not sure how that would be detected), how can I get them to display as they were originally taken? Why are they displayed that way in the first place, when all the other apps display them properly? Thanks. Steve

Drupal 7 and Organic Groups

Hi! I am completely stuck after upgrading my website from Drupal 6to Drupal 7 with Organic Groups. I have two questions: 1. The group manager can't add new members - new members are not included in the list of members 2. On each screen is a calendar of events - that was not really intended... :) Greetings, Me.

Five Rating Module

Hi Sir, i gave the rate permission to the anonymous, then used the anonymous role to test whether can rate the article or not. the annoying thing is although i have rated once,i still can rate the second time.third time.,fourth......again and again,there is no message to give me and saying, "you have rated." Could you please give me solution for this rating problem.I am using five star rating module Regards&Thanks Selvaraj.C

Add multi-line text to a textarea

Hey all, I'm trying to add a default value that has multiple lines to a text area and am unable to add line breaks. The default value is being built out of an array with the goal that each entry of the array is on it's own line. Adding \n, \r\n, or \r only adds the \n,\r\n, or \r as text and not as a new line. Is there some sort of preprocessing I need to do to the text in order to get the line breaks to show up in the textarea? Code: $codes = variable_get('somevariablename', array()); $display = ''; foreach ($codes AS $key => $value) { $display.= $value . "\n"; } $form['textareatitle'] = array( '#title' => 'Title', '#type' => 'textarea', '#default_value' => $display, ); Any help or pointing in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks! Ben

View of modules ?

Dear all, I'm wondering whether it's possible in drupal 6 to build a view of modules ? I know it's easy to see a list ofmodules but would still be interested in being able to build a view of installed ones so any pointer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ! Sherab.

Another interesting find with the troublesome calendar module after deleting everything in the css folder and flushing caches. Firebug in Firefox would not reveal the specific code, <Tools/DeveloperTools> in chromium does. I will investigate this further. I found the css in calendar_multiday.css and extended the width to 60em and height to 3.9em and find it contains all of the field data including all of the dates supplied by the repeating dates option. There seems to be no way to have just one or two fields in the display which displays everything in one long line. I have only the fields that the view needs. Very messy to say the least. So apparently there is no built in way to filter out just one date either in the date module or the calendar module and filter just what is needed for the display. If anyone can throw some light on how best to tackle this problem it's much appreciated Thanks Roger

Hi Roger, I'd take a look at the recent log entries to see if the save configuration isn't completing correctly. it's probably not so much that they're switching back on, but for some reason never getting switched off. -Don- Thanks Don Strangely there is no report of this.
