Drupal6 and DXMPP implementation

Hello all, I am just implementing DXMPP [1] on our Drupal site and I want to know how to merge Jabber server database with tables dxmpp_roster and dxmpp_users in our Drupal database. Could somebody explain me what information needs to be written in these tables and what meaning the fields in these tables have? My Jabber server is ejabberd [2] and I am using Mnesia DB [3] on it. @media only and images

Dear All, Got back from BAD Camp in Berkeley full of new knowledge. Trying out @media only. Mantra was design for the mobile and then implement Mobile first. Progressive enhancement. rather than elegant degradation. Such like the Boston Globe's new site. Gradually minimize the width of the browser to see. You guys know all about this. My question for Drupalites: I have a png logo and it doesn't minimize gradually like I would expect. Barring overlooking something in the CSS is there some setting in *Drupla* (better name for Drupal imho) which is stopping it from minimizing? Is there a module that creates "Books" Similar to RoboHelp projects?

I am currently working on an Intranet project in which we use RoboHelp for on-line manuals connected to a single source document system. Our goal is to replace the system within Drupal, so that content contributors will be able to add and modify on-line manuals right in Drupal. RoboHelp for those that are not familiar with the interface creates a GUI with a left navigation system and 3 tabs that show content, and Index of key words (vocabulary terms), and a search, that allows the end-user to search that particular manual. Many Help systems use this type of interface. This interface is essentially what Books is in Core, and what the contributed module Easy Books offer, with more bells and whistles to it. I am wondering if anyone has created a contributed module that puts it all together, or if we will have to build something from scratch. Or team has expertise with HTML. CSS, .Net, JavaScript, and classic ASP, but unfortunately we are just starting out with PHP. Looking forward to your ideas and thoughts.

MySQL noob: Update images to gallery tid

Hope you'll pardon my absolute lack of knowledge of SQL and give me a little clue or 2. I'm retroactively changing the photos layout on a site to Views Gallery, and need to update a couple of image nodes to the Term "gallery". Could do it manually, I guess, but I'd really love to know this trick. So I have nid 1,2,3,4, etc. that need to have the gallery tid = '1' (for argument's sake). Therefore I need to update the 'term_node' table - and INSERT where nid = 1,2,3,4 tid = '1' I think that makes sense? Thanks. :)

Setting page meta "description" on View Page

Hi to every body out there. I've been trying to assign a "meta description" for a page that is generated by using views. My view page accepts a param. This param is the "initial char" that is used for an alpabetical search of terms (like a dictionary access) So...the URLs with i'm having problems with looks like this. domain.com/category/a domain.com/category/b ..... In all this pages, including the one generated by a query no parameters ( domain.com/category) there is not "meta description" tag. I've seen that the usual way of dealing with this is through "node words". The point is i'm using it, but it seems it won't display the description tag. Can anybody give me any tips of how to deal with this? Thanks in advance

RSS field formatters

Hi, I have installed this module and went to structure, type, display and changed the file formatter to rss enclosure. The podcast test shows the enclosures, but the problem is now if some one goes to the actual node to view the page the file is no longer shown on the page. Editing the page shows that the file should be displayed. I've asked this in the RSS field formatters project, but hae not seen an answer yet so wonder if anyone here could offer advice? Input field based on user field data?

Hi, On a site I am working on I have a field on the user profile that users complete when registering that can have one or more values entered.. Lets says its a "favourite colours".. I now want to create a content type that users can create that uses those entries to present a selection to the user (drop down, multi-select, etc.).. So in other words for the "favourite colours" field on the new content creation page they only have the choices of the colours they have saved in their profile in the "favourite colours" field.. Hopefully that makes sense.. :) Anyone have any idea how to do it? TIA

Creating a "Terms of use" page

Dear all, I'm building a site where userwill be allowed to register only after they have accepted some conditions. I created the registration form with webform. Could somebody please suggest a way to have a two-steps registration process where the user has to accept the terms of use (fist step) to be allowed to poceed. Having a one-step registration process where the terms of use would be associated with a checkbox would be okay, but then how to validate a registration only if the terms of use have been accepted ? As an additional constraint, a solution not relying on javascript would be preferred. Thanks very much in advance for any help, Sherab.

Passing value from webform to read-only field on redirected page.

I'm a somewhat green developer (I have RPG programming experience) and I'm working on a website for a baseball association. I am developing it from the ground up, including registration which is where I'm having my issues. Parents need to register their children for the upcoming season. I need to create views from those registrations to set up the rest of the content on the website (rosters, etc) I have set up the parents as content profiles and children as nodes, referencing their parents. Easy enough (now that it's done!) I created the baseball registration pages using uc_event_registration with the content type of paid event. I added a webform to the product page for the parent to select their own child and complete checkout, and I thought I had really accomplished something until I realized that I was not able to access that data with Views. Monday, upon realizing this wonderful gem of information while I was trying to set up a view of all of the children who were registered (all test data), I worked on a solution for 20 hours straight and made no forward progress besides loading dozens of additional modules which were useless to me. I have a solution worked out in my head that I know will work because of an accidental experiment on Monday, On the content type for the event registration page I placed a node reference field with a view to select children of the logged in user, not realizing that wasn't going to show up on the product page itself (I was tired, what can I say?), but instead, took the first value from the list and added it to the product page an a read only field. Lo and behold, I was able to access that field with Views! Today I created a webform which will allow a parent to choose one of their children and upon submit, will redirect to the registration page. My issue is I don't know how to pass that value (the child's name) to a read only field on the product page. Another option would be to add CCK fields to an Ubercart product page, but I can't seem to figure that one out, either. If you at all understand what I'm trying to do and feel like taking pity on me before I give myself a concussion from beating my head on my screen, I would VERY much appreciate it. I don't often wave a white flag, but I'm days away from the deadline and I can't create any of the other Views as they depend on the child's registration info. Thanks! Adding google analytics conversion code to a successful user registration.

Hi, Does anyone know an easy way to handle this in D6? There is no specific page that user registration goes to when successful so do I have to add a submit handler of some sort to run the necessary conversion code? How does that work when I've been given javascript to call client side and the submit handler works server side? Any thoughts welcome :) Thanks, Malks.
