dr_ table prefixes

Hello all, I recently inherited a D7 site and in the discovery process found a slew of database tables with a "dr_" prefix. They seem redundant and I'm inclined to whack them during the clean up process, but am hesitant because I don't know what the hell they are. I thought it was Backup and Migrate or Features, but it doesn't seem to be. I've done a bit of research, but cannot, for the life of me, figure out where these entries come from. Does this sound familiar to anyone? -- Al Sessions

Module to retrieve images and store locally

Hi, Is there a module that will retrieve images on a hook_cron, then let me reference them locally like imagecache? I would also like to be able to look back over time, say post the last 10 images grabbed at 15 minute intervals during special events like sunspot eruptions. I wan to load some images from noaa.gov and nasa.gov on a regular basis and store them locally. These aren't copyrighted, but the topical ones are constantly updated and disappear if not stored locally. Thanks. -- -Don Pickerel- Fane Software

Views Error After Upgrading

I upgraded from Drupal 6 to 7 and updated Views too. I get this error now when trying to edit existing views I get I get PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function is_defaulted() on a non-object in /var/www/site/sites/all/modules/views/includes/handlers.inc on line 219. D7: .htaccess in temporary directory?

Dear all, On a D7 site, admin/reports/status says there should be a .htaccess file in the temporary directory. However this directory is in /tmp so outside of the docuemnt root and moreover a file there would be removed at each system startup so would have to be re-installed. Should the temporay directory for Drupal be somewhere else? Many thanks for any help about this! Shérab.

I suspected a much but as I had done a mysqldump of the database to a plain text .sql file and moved that across to the server, I thought it would contain all field contents. Generally speaking, the /sites directory should contain everything and it should read configurations within the database copy but in this instance...... Also I am thinking that there may be a permissions problem surrounding the color module but can't find it. I routinely clear the cache and did so before zipping and before the mysqldump. Roger

copying /sites to server

I created a draft Drupal 7.26 site on my development pc using the Bartik theme which I copied to /sites/all/themes and renamed. Renamed the .info and bartik terms in template.tpl.php, it worked well so I made alterations to style, colors and layout.css files. It works well on my setup. I zipped the /sites folder and the database, installed drupal 7.26 on the server, set up the database on the server to have the same name, username and password. Renamed the default /sites folder to /xxxsites then unzipped my uploaded /sites file to replace the original /sites folder. When proven I simply delete the /xxxsites folder. I have done this process many times successfully but not with a rejigged Bartik theme. I have standard modules, ctools, views, colors, and others on my dev machine which copied across in the zipped /sites folder. Things seem to work on the server, I can log in to, view and alter the site. Except the Bartik banner colour which I altered to grey in my copy does not display in the server display. If I switch the server theme back to original core Bartik it displays the original blue banner which disappears if I try to change colours from the original blue. I seem to remember this was a problem in a number of themes, Mayo, Danland and others quite some time ago but never found a resolution. I have compared the server css files to my dev css files, I have compared the .tpl.php files and all are word for word. I have tried altering the server css code but alterations do not work. I suspect there is something i have overlooked but do not know what. Can someone please point me in a direction on how to solve this issue? thanks in advance Roger

document management solution for our Program Information Publication System (PIPS) project

In the next 6-12 months we will be looking into a document management solution for our Program Information Publication System (PIPS) project and we did some research found a Drupal module called "filedepot" ( https://drupal.org/project/filedepot). It appears to have a lot of features that are concurrent with PIPS requirement like security settings, workflow management, and document revision management. Of course the design and functionality will need to be branched from the original module, but this module may allow us to get a head start on PIPS development if it's a good fit. Also I also noticed that Alfresco has a document management solution and after further research I noticed that Acquia and Alfresco now has a partnership. Could you please comment on where the Acquia and Alfresco partnership is at and what would be the best option for the PIPS project either: a.) Drupal with filedepot b.) Alfresco by itself c.) Alfresco with a Drupal Alfresco contributed module connected to it d.) Acquia and Alfresco partnership??????? Thanks, John Mitchell -- John J. Mitchell

Many false applications for accounts

I have Mollom installed, but yet a handful of account applications escape their captcha/analysis each day. The problem is that the only obviously wrong field is the username, which is not listed as a field in the Mollom configuration. This is one of the most annoying php errors ever. I get it all the time and have not found any help. It is not as far as I can tell a mysql problem because it occurs no matter which database is used. Roger
