Search My Custom MySQL Table in drupal

Hi guys I would like to implement a function on my drupal site that will give two search option for example A Identification number A Personal File number The information to be queried will be imported from SQL server Database to my drupal database custom table. When the user visits the site he/she can serch for information about his/her file by entering the number in that field and gets back the information Can i do it with CCK or webform? Help me out how can i implement this Thanks

Flashnode module: Thumbnail image of a video before playing a video file using flowplayer, how to? How to generate thumbnail image of a video so that preview image of a video will show before playing a video. I have explored http://drupal.org/node/216909 this url and followed the methods what described but failed to put image before playing a video like youtube.(i have set url like /sites/default/files/xyz.jpg in the flash vars option under advance settings). I am using flowplayer with swftools and drupal version 6. I've long thought an optional "make a path redirect for this node" that was integrated into the node delete process would be a nice improvement. saving a 4.X D installation

Hi, Is there a place where to find the latest D4? Yep D four! Was it compatible with PHP 5? Does anyone remember what had to be fixed to make it PHP 5 compatible. I'm getting some errors about: 1 timezone (fixed) 2 array_merge getting as input something that is not an array (probably fixed) 3 assignment to non object causing "Creating default object from empty value in" (probably fixed) But even fixing all the above... the site still doesn't work and I'm getting something like: {primary_links} {_BLOCK_.footer.blocks} {_BLOCK_.header.title} {_BLOCK_.node.title} ... Actually I'm not really sure if the fix I used for 2 (casting to array the return of functions) and 3 (ignoring the error @) were actual fix. HTTP 400 - BAD REQUEST when moving .htaccess to httpd.conf

Hello, I have install latest Drupal, I come across with a problem: If I move the content of .htaccess into httpd.conf, the site is not accessible and error "HTTP 400 - BAD REQUEST" will be give out. If I leave the drupal config as in .htaccess, it is okay. However, I don't want to use .htacess in my production server, so anyone had experience in moving configurations to httpd.conf? (I am using Apache 2.2) Thanks.

Hi! I would like implement a functionality in a web site for able to upload an excel file, with a determined format, and then, I want to generate nodes with this information. Exists a module or a medium to do that? or how can i insert data into drupal database from an excel file? thanks a lot

Redirecting a deleted node

There's a node (page) that I deleted from my site. I have attempted to remove it from Google, but they keep scanning for it. They do this for about 3 hours before giving up and believe the node isn't there. The only real harm is a really huge log file and a lot of 404's generated. I've tried a lot of the examples I found on Drupal.org, but none seem to really work. I have a feeling it's the address Google is using trying to get at. I'm not sure .htaccess can handle the '?q=' part of the line. http://www.example.com/index.php?q=node/1234&gccid=5810652&gcp=18 The site is on latest 5.19 and uses clean urls. I have no idea where they got their address from but it is the correct node number that used to exist but it was never addressed that way, always with a clean url. What I've tried in .htaccess: RedirectPermanent index.php?q=node/1234 http://www.example.com/newpage Also: RewriteBase / RewriteRule index.php?q=node/1234 /newpage [R=301,L] (yes, I positioned both BEFORE the clean rewrite rules) But none have any effect on the redirect and all these get sent to the 404 page. I'm out of ideas on this. Anyone else have ideas how to fix this? Is there a way (or module) that might let me redirect based on a node number? I haven't seen one yet that does that. Comments needing approval block

I am trying to create a block of comments that need approval. I have tried many iterations of ways to do this and I cannot figure it out. I would like to do this with views. If anyone can give me a suggestion I would appreciate it. javascript after document loaded

I have a single javascript function i want to call when a page has loaded. I haven't used jQuery before but have found the $(document).ready option. Can I use this to run my javascript and if so do where do I put my code. Would rather not put in a module unless it's necessary... Many thanks Gary

image gallery

I am using the image and image_gallery modules. Is there an easy way to find out if an image is in a gallery from within node-image.tpl.php or by changing theme_image_teaser() I'd like to change the link so that an image link on my blog goes straight to the gallery page instead of the image page So for example on: http://ramblings.garylawton.com/2009_05_18/Sunny/Avon the link from the image goes to: http://ramblings.garylawton.com/image/tid/63 instead of going to: http://ramblings.garylawton.com/node/1433 Any ideas appreciated, happy to write some sql to pull this from the taxonomy if there isn't a better way....
