Noob question panel content not selectable.

Good Evening, I am a complete drupal noob, please forgive me if some of my terminology is off. I have tried googling for my problem but I am not able to express it as well in words as I could demonstrate it with 2 small screenshots. Basically I have just taken over a drupal site, the customer has a development site and a live site. some of the pages on the live site stopped working :-( When I get in to the admin section if I go to. admin/structure/pages select edit next to the page I want to edit and then select content I get the drag and drop interface as demonstrated in this screen shot. http://imgur.com/7nM5Tl9 However if I do exactly the same on the live instance, configure with all the same modules etc. I don't get the drag and drop interface at all, it's just blank. Can't clear cache with drush (file permissions)

I'm getting file permission errors while trying to clear caches using drush. FYI: This is on my own workstation. OS = Mac OSX drush version 5.8 Running as user tim with : linus:~ tim$ id ...,70(_www),... apache is user _www files involved are user:group _www:_www permissions are 664 on files, 755 on the directory, which is sites/default/files/js I note that sites/default/files/css is being handled without error and has permissions of 775 I want to automate this process for the command line as much as possible so would like a solution that doesn't entail clearing from the site itself Would there be anything wrong with changing directory permissions on sites/default/files/js to 775? rules module question change order of rules

Can I change order of the rules on the main screen? I can't seem to find a weight to update to change the order of the rules I have created. When I click configure, rules. I just see the rule listing. I must be missing it.

Can not upload greater than 1MB file

Hi all, I have drupal 7 installation on AWS server. And I have set up upload_max_filesize = 32M in php.ini I have created cck file/ image field into my site with default maximum upload size i.e 32M. Still I am not able to upload any extension file above the 1M. Its really wired for me. Any suggestion/guide, what else I have to check to upload greater than 1M files. Thanks in advance.

Looking for a module recommendation - nested content viewable from one page

Hi. In an attempt to create a robust yet intuitive page authoring experience for our content authors, I've experimented some with both the inline_entity_form (requires EntityReference) and the fields_collection modules. I'm looking for advice on how to use these or other modules to accomplish the following before diving into making a custom module. Thank you in advance for any replies received: 1. The content author creates a new page 2. To this page, the content author sets the page title and allowed groups (checklist field tied to our custom module using hook_node_access). 3. To this page, the content author adds a number of 'main' content parts (think in terms of paragraphs), with the ability for each paragraph to choose which of the groups they want to allow to see any particular paragraph. 4. The content author then sets any of up to 4 'section' titles for corresponding additional sections which may contain the aforementioned type of 'paragraph' content to, each 'section' having an option to set allowed groups, and each contained paragraph also allowing an option to set allowed groups. To visualize this, the 'sections' would be rendered as separate tabs containing paragraphs, shown below a few 'main' paragraphs. Sometimes the 'paragraphs' will be authored especially for a particular page, and sometimes the paragraphs will simply be referenced from paragraphs which were created previously. I accomplished this using EntityReference with inline_entity_form by having 3 content types, 1 for the 'page', one for a 'tab section' and one for a 'content part' (aka 'paragraph'), but I ran into the following issues: a) The inline_entity_form has some issues pertaining to nesting, but perhaps this will be fixed soon as it seems to have been a reported issue b) Even with the nesting issue resolved, the way of viewing the content in edit mode is a bit too cumbersome when pushed to this extent to make for a good UX. The content author sees a list of the arbitrary content titles that they were required to add to their content parts and would have to click 'edit' just to be able to see any of the contained actual content. For a page with several content items, this could make for a lot of hunting and seeking for which content item they actually wish to edit. I looked at fields_collection and made fields for the content items instead of using content types. This way is a lot cleaner for the content author, except I lose the ability to have the content author add existing content, and, more importantly, I lose the ability to have the display of the content item for site visitors obey hook_node_access implementations. I've also tried nesting EntityReferences backed by inline_entity_form into field collections. and vice-versa. each with varying 'not quite there' results. Any ideas would be appreciated. Tom

China attacking our web site.

Last night we had about a thousand attempts on our site. All are from Chinese addresses blocked by Drupal and a Rule redirects off site and sends me an advisory email. With out the email I would have no idea how many attempts. Drupal recognises the blocked ip addresses and I have a Rule that reacts to those blocked IPs but I do not understand what happens from there. - How does Rules react to blocked IPs if they don't get into the Drupal system? - I'm supposing that the blocked IPs do get into the system but cannot view pages, but in the instant they try the Rules Redirect takes place and the email sent. Can a hacker/cracker use code that detects a redirect which in turn redirects straight back to the site under attack? It seems that we get 5 attempts at the same time then a break of 60 seconds then it starts again. Unfortunately Rules does not have facility to include the ip of each attempt and I don't particularly want yet another module to handle this. One of our admins installed the Unlock module, without my knowledge. It this dangerous in the above case, can it override the Drupal block or Rules? Help in understanding is greatly appreciated thank you roger

strange link behaviour, please help

I have a site, www.panevinosb.com, where on the home page I have a block which has a title and one picture. The link is "pane-e-vino-menu". The picture is linked to "pane-e-vino-menu" which has a link in the menu bar on the front page also. That link is "node/4" . The first time I click on that block it takes me to the menu, if I then go back to the home page and click the block again I get a 404 error! flags 7.2 and rules module

Hi, I am trying to acomplish the following if the needs review flag is set I would like another flag to be unflagged. so I create the rule if needs review is flagged for the event choose unflag node then choose the flag I want to have unflagged it wants me to enter something so I put in the field flagged-node When I test it, and nothing happens I am sure I am doing something wrong here all flags are global.

uninstall rules module

I would like to uninstall all rules module and its required modules when I uninstall 7.20 and then try to install 7.23 it crashes every time. I'm not sure what might be left behind that is causing this. I can install a new site and install rules 7.23 just fine. Any ideas or suggestions? My steps are below. drupal 7.22 1. go to modules 2 uncheck everything I can relating to rules untill I get all extra modules gone 3. go to the modules uninstall and unstill to all is gone. then I try and install latest version.
