FormAPI, multiple versions of a form on the same page

I'm creating a module which adds a rating form to all comments, much like the mediumvote/simplevote, except that I wan't to use a form instead of links to submit the ratings. The problem I'm having is when several comments are displayed on the page, all having a rating form, only the first form works as expected. I guess it's makes sense since they all have the same form_id, and I haven't found a way to alter the id. I'm sure there are some clever ways of solving this with the formAPI, any tips or pointers to modules already doing this (both for 4.7 and 5.0 are welcome)? Here is my form code (short version) which gets inserted to the comment with drupal_get_form('mymodule_rate_form', $record). function mymodule_rate_form($record) { $form['options'] = array( '#type' => 'select', '#options' => array(NULL => t(''), 1 => t('good'), 2 => t('bad')), ); $form['cid'] = array( '#type' => 'value', '#value' => $record['cid'], ); $form['submit'] = array( '#type' => 'submit', '#value' =>t('Rate'), ); return $form; } And the code to submit the form: function mymodule_rate_form_submit($form_id, $form_values) { $cid = $form_values['cid']; $value = $form_values['options']; //Do some voting here } Thanks, Anders

User roles not saving

Hi, I have a weird issue in Drupal 4.7.3. My user roles aren't saving when I assign roles to them. I have, for example, user Erich, and he must get role Webmaster. I edit his account, and assign the role, but the information is not saved. I have checked the database - as far as I can tell everything is working fine. The Users table has the account Erich (obviously) and the Roles table has the role Webmaster (also obvious). But users_roles table remains empty when saving the user's account. I checked the sequences table, and saw that there is no role_rid entry there - not sure if that could be the cause of the problem? Should I add it? node_nid and user_uid is there, so I assume it should be safe to add? Will it help? Anyone any other ideas where I can continue my search for this problem? Thanks in advance! Kobus

You could try making a new input format - which doesn't filter html, and also doesn't use the line break filter. What's the status of volunteer module? Is there a maintainer? There's no 4.7 version, and I just installed the cvs version and it seems a bit buggy, with documentation not updated from 4.6. I'm interested in the volunteer admin/ coordinator stuff, which isn't replicated by RSVP. Is CivicSpace going to put out an update now that CSOD is launching? Form elements displaying as block - want inline

Hello, I've got a drupal 4.7.3 site, and I've got a page where I'm inserting html for a form. For this form, I'd like the radio buttons to display inline. No matter what I do, drupal forces them to display as block. Also, hidden elements show up as empty space, so it looks goofy. Here's my form: http://beta.menashalibrary.org/catalog I have a static template on my computer I used to test the form. It points to the stylesheets used on the site, and everything displays fine. But, once I paste the form code into drupal, it messes up the formatting. It does the same thing if I create a block. Any ideas what may be causing this to happen? Here's some more detail in case your unfamiliar with mysql. Here's the mysql example. mysql -u <yourdrupaluser> -p <yourdrupaldatabase> You'll be prompted for your drupal users databse password. Your drupal user and drupal database comes from the site settings.php file. then you'd see a prompt like this: mysql> That's where you type the command. quit to exit If you don't have command line access you'll need to run this query using a tool like phpmyslqadmin or some such tool. User login takes me to a blank page

Hello, Well, I set my site to offline-maintenance mode. And, I go to website.com/user and get my login page. I put in my name, password, and hit enter. I get a blank page with this url: http://beta.menashalibrary.org/user?destination=user If I reload the login page, it never actually logged me in. Bug? Email function always read php.ini

Hi, Note that this installation is doing on a sub folder: C:\wamp\www\test123\ I got this error: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 550 <coba(a)test.com>, Recipient unknown in C:\wamp\www\test123\modules\user.module on line 430. I found that line 1085: $from = variable_get('site_mail', ini_get('sendmail_from')); above line can't get first argument but always do ini_get('sendmail_from') which mean reading the php.ini. This line should read drupal {variable} table first before read the php.ini. This is a bug?

Is there a version of Signup for ver. 4.7?

Hello, I'm interested in using the signup module: http://drupal.org/project/signup But, I noticed it's for version 4.6 and haven't been able to get it working in 4.7. Is there an alternative module that does the same thing that works in 4.7? - jody
