A Few Questions

1 A site I am working on has a weekly schedule (like a radio station) and we want that when a visitor comes to the site, he will automatically see that day's schedule, with links of course to the other 6 days. The weekly schedule doesn't really change much, aside from the occasional special event. Is there a module that can handle this? 2 Regarding forums, I only see modules to integrate other php forum packages into Drupal--is this the standard method of building forums ona Drupal site? Nodes do not show in normal view (I can still edit them and summary shows)

all my nodes are gone, the main text (the book pages, forum articles etc., everything). everything else seems OK, all modules seems to be working, I can even edit the nodes (so they are not lost), they show in summary mode (e.g. on front page). it's kinda weird, just look at frontpage and click on any item and see it's not shown: http://zasran.com/ (example of node: http://zasran.com/drupal/?q=node/16) not sure how this happened, it was working before, the only related change was a drupal security update (not sure what that did, I used debian package). any ideas? my system: debian unstable drupal 4.5.8-1.1 (that's the latest in debian) (I know I should upgrade but I was hoping debian package will be updated...) erik

Green Marinée

I am thinking of upgrading to Drupal 4.7 but am concerned that the theme I'm using, Green Marinée, hasn't yet been updated. I did a quick search and it appears that there was talk of updating it but the latest release is 4.6.0. Does anyone know if/when such an update will take place? TIA Sue

Showing last 4 news is in homepage but in center not in blocks

My name is David King, I am having trouble with LDAP users logging on I have a very vanilla Drupal (v4.6.6) install, except that it is installed on Postgres, I have the LDAP authentication module installed, and it is installed on FreeBSD (all three are installed via the FreeBSD Ports system). Module updates

Hi, I was wondering if there were any plans to set up RSS feeds from the module pages (or email subscriptions), so we'd know when modules had updates? I have seven or eight modules set up on some of my sites, and wish there were any easy way to track all of their updates. Or is something like that already set up and I just don't know about it? Custom Report . . .

I need to create a custom report that is based on several profile fields. It will need to group on one profile field, sort by another two, and then show four more -- for all active users. Should I be looking to do this as a page node or a module? customizing the taxonomy page

The page contains a list of teasers for the nodes that belongs to that term. My problem is that I would like to customize this page in to respects. 1) I would like to affect the way each node is presented. I don’t want the heading to be h2 and I don’t want a “read more” link as it is already possible to click the heading. 2) My biggest concern though, is that all nodes in that term are listed. I would only like those that are sorted directly under that term in the menu tree to be listed. Is there a way of deciding which nodes will be shown? 3) I would like to have an introductory description of the term. Unfortunately there is no room for a text meant for publishing in the term page, only a description. Can this be made to show up on the term page? Grateful for any advice! Sten
