accessibility of forum module

civicspace 0.8.3-rc3 upgrade path?

It's an election year for the states and in order to get going I need to get our site live relatively soon. But to do that I need to use some features that exist in 0.8.3. I'm curious what the upgrade path is from rc3 to the next 0.8.3 release. Is there a script provided or is it a case of diff -r and some quality reading time? Issue with multisite url creation for edit forms action parameter...

I have been able to solve all the issues with multisite except this last one, which is the url in the action parameter for the edit forms being created incorrectly. This problem only shows up for multisite, and only when I use with apache & the baseURL to make a multisite site look like a single site. For example the main CITRIS site is really located at http://citrissrv2.berkeley.edu/citris. It sits behind an apache server that does a proxy pass from http://www.citris-uc.org <http://www.citris-uc.org> to http://citrissrv2.berkeley.edu/drupal/citris. I have set the site's baseURL to http://www.citris-uc.org <http://www.citris-uc.org/>, and 90% of the time this works fine. However, when Drupal generates a edit forms, it prepends "/citris" to the url. So where it should have action="/node/123/edit", it generates action="/citris/node/123/edit". This does not happen if the baseURL is http://citrissrv2.berkeley.edu/citris and proxy pass is not used. To deal with this issue, I set up a symbolic link so that $durpal_dir/citris just points back to $drupal_dir. This is an easy fix that works most of the time. However, modules such as webform and project have forms that use secondary pages as subforms, and as the pages pass the data back-and-forth, I end up with urls like action="/citris/citris/citris/citris/citris/node/123/edit" and so on, until the url finally gets too long for the browser to handle, the url gets clipped & the user is set to an error page. I suspect I am going to be diving into core to address this one, but I still hope it might just be a configuration error on my part. I am grateful for any tip & leads. I don't think you need flexi-node (although I find flexinode to be one of the most useful modules out there) "story" content types can be used to do this. I think this is just the default "node" page showing the submitted "stories". Probably the "Path" module is used to rename "node" to "news". Taxonomy module is likely used to provide navigation. Distributed authentication not working

Hello, everyone. I have maindomain.com with a drupal setup. I also have seconddomain.com running with the same core files as maindomain.com. However, there are no apache setup for this multi-domain setup. Instead, I changed my DNS entries so seconddomain.com will send everything to maindomain.com without changing the headers (that tells drupal that the site is seconddomain.com). So now, I activated the drupal modules and entered enough site information for both installations. I setup the cron jobs, and they go off every hour using cron-lynx.sh. Both also point the xml-rpc server to maindomain.com/xmlrpc.php. I cannot log into maindomain.com with user(a)seconddomain.com nor with user(a)www.seconddomain.com. Same with the reverse direction. I searched everywhere for some additional information that might be needed, but I cannot find any. Hope somebody out there can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Can't Access Modules!?

I've been working on a site today. Everything seems to be going well. But, all of a sudden, when I try to Administer->Modules, the page comes back blank. I was installing, enabling, and disabling modules just earlier without problems. Now, I just get a blank page for http://my_drupal_site/admin/modules. All the other administrative links seem to work. I did find the following in the httpd error_log: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) What did I do wrong? -- Jiann-Ming Su "I have to decide between two equally frightening options. Disable category display on nodes

Hi, I'm using Drupal 4.6.x with a modified version of the Bluemarine theme. I want to use the taxonomy module to let me sort content and create blocks that list nodes of each category. However, I don't want the category type to be visible at all on each node. Ideally, the taxonomy module would be an invisble "behind the scenes" feature that would help administration and not be visible to users. I tried removing the:  <span class="taxonomy">{taxonomy}</span>  from xtemplate.xtmpl but that gave the following error: [XTemplate] parse: blockname [node.taxonomy] does not exist in /home/mylogin/public_html/themes/engines/xtemplate/xtemplate.inc on line 418. I also tried setting the css as follows: .node .taxonomy { color: #999; font-size: 0.8em; padding: 1.5em; display: none; } but the category was still visible. I can't find an option to disable category display in the admin menu. Is this possible? What's the best way to accomplish it? Tim

flush() in aggregator2

Hi, When I refresh a feed using admin/aggregator2/refresh/<nid> this error appears in the log: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in /home/scm/drupal/DRUPAL-4-6/drupal/includes/common.inc on line 192 When I comment out the flush() in the aggregator2 module, line 1136, the problem disappears, and there doesn't appear to be any side effects. Afaics there is nothing to flush, as later on drupal_goto() works fine. Any ideas on what the problem could be? I'm running FC3 + httpd-2.0.52-3.1 + php-4.3.11-2.7 + drupal 4.6.tip and.aggregator2 module 1.31.2.1 -- John

Problems Adding New Blocks in 4.6.5

I'm trying to add new blocks. I was able to add one and enable it. For some reason, that's the only one I've been able to add. When I try adding another, and click on "Save block", the list of available blocks comes back, but the new block isn't listed. I'm even given a "The new block has been added" message. Problem adding aliases

Hello list, I have 2 installation of Drupal 4.6.5. One of them is fresh installation and second one is an upgrade from 4.6.3 -> 4.6.4 -> 4.6.5 In both cases I have enabled clean URL (mod_rewrite works fine). But in the upgraded installation I can't create aliases. There is no field where I could give my own alias. In the fresh installation I can manage aliases without any problem.
