[drupal-support] Multi sites

Any help with multi -site installaion will be welcome. I am running 4.51 and all I get is a blank index page per for the other sites even though I am pinting the base ur;l to the right subdomain. the default site is fine. Thanks Larry

[drupal-support] Search does not find comments / forum posts

On DIYPlanner.com, our search is not finding words in forum posts or comments. Searching yields results only in stories and book pages. Compare the results of: http://www.diyplanner.com/search/node/moleskine With: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Adiyplanner.com+moleskine&btnG=G… Is this expected behavior of the search.module? [drupal-support] Cache and poll for anonymous users

I have problem with poll module (in 4.6.3) when cache is enabled and server load problem when cache is disabled. Anonymous users see 'random' view for the poll block on pages, for example; on the main page - results, some category - vote form, another category... Is the block cached with the page? Is the cache page-oriented? If so, is it a good idea to put the poll block's contents in an iframe or? I hope I'll have time to dig a bit deeper soon... Thanks in advance. -- Kind Regards, Doncho.

hello all, i have found another error in drupal - the same old thing with the quoted integers. And so i cant moderate none of my blog postings! _____________________________________________________________________ / | warning: pg_query(): Query failed: ERROR: invalid input syntax for | | integer: "" in /home/www/flammiger.org/includes/database.pgsql.inc on | line 45. | | user error: | query: UPDATE users SET mode = '', sort = '', threshold = '' ... \_______________________________________________________________________ Why are the mode='' and the other statements in the query? There is no value for them so we can ommit them! When will this be fixed? or can someone tell me where the query is build so i can do that by myself tia Torsten

Blankhello. [drupal-support] Problems with Create Content Link

hi all, i have added a site to my existing one. I createtd a new database and all went fine... Now i miss the "create content" Link when i log in? If i activate it _under_ the administer-menue it is shown for anonymous users too. That is not what i want. In my primary page there was no such behavior and i even had no such problems: never had to touch the "create content" thing. In fact: it is disabled there! And: if i add it for testing and i open >> administer >> create content >> page i get strange warnings from Drupal saying: _____________________________________________________________________ / | Wrong datatype for second argument in <path/to/drupal>/node.module on | line 1330 \_____________________________________________________________________ The same happens when i click the link "Story" None of these warnings occured on my primary page... [drupal-support] Drupal + Gallery2 + Safe Mode -> Nothing

(second try, my first mail run into moderator queue) Hi there, I have a little weird problem, this is my second drupal installation. (I have some experiences in writing modules and debugging the drupal source) At first it works all fine! After I put all the content from my old Webpage into drupal and made my own theme, I was searching for a better Gallery Modul. I found gallery2 (from menalto) and try to install. Gallery2 requires "save_mode" off, so I asked my serveradministrator for doing this. He did, and gallery2 works fine. (You should know I use the same database for gallery2 and drupal, but gallery2 has a table prefix). Then, when I went back to my drupal page, there was nothing! Not even a blank page. (no headers, error-messages or something) I took a look at the database, if gallery2 deleted it, but its fine (as far as I can see). There are just some additional tables g2_*. So I took a look at the filesystem, but everything is also fine. Then I started debugging drupal, by changing the sourcecode to produce php errors, to know where dupal dies, but I could not find out. (Syntax errors, I made, have been posted, but that's all) I removed gallery2 and all its tables, but It's still the same. Maybe the problem is that safe_mode is off - but I can't check this now, because my admin is currently not available... Any ideas? Thanks for your regards! Andy

For accurate results, download it in Firefox, but in IE, you will probably get a drupal.tar.tar file. Rename it to drupal.tar.gz and it should unzip fine then. [drupal-support] blogapi toolbar

Some of my users are getting into blogging. They are finding web articles that they want to add to their blogs to share with others. To facilitate their blogging, I'd like to add a capability similar to Google's Blogging button on the toolbar, or like the blog button on the aggregator blocks. I've looked around but not found much that does this, is simple to use (simply a toolbar), and free. I did save the file first as suggested in the download instructions. I downloaded and saved twice just to make sure. Then used both Winzip and Pkzip to try to unzip and received the error.
